Short bio
Jerry Rogers grew up in the Idaho Rockies and ended up carrying the first IBM portable computer through airports in London, Dublin, Tokyo, Sydney, Toronto, and a good many places in between. He is the author of Redneck Around the World, a memoir of grit, grace, and getting badly underestimated on purpose.
Longer bio
Raised on snow fort wars, potato harvests, and a mother who woke him with a bucket of cold water, Jerry went from selling night crawlers as a boy to working as a technician in California and then as an international computer trainer. Along the way he wore a fishing hat covered in pins from every country he worked in, survived a wild hog in his own backyard, and collected the family stories that get retold every holiday until somebody cries laughing. His family finally talked him into writing them down.
